This policy will describe what data Chazon PFMS collects on behalf of each
farm, and how it is stored, used, and protected. Before this page is ready
to link from an actual signup flow, it needs to accurately describe, at
minimum:
- What is collected: farm operational data (pigs, health, financial records),
account data (name, email), and usage data
- That each farm's data is isolated from every other farm on the platform
- How long data is retained after a subscription is cancelled, and what
happens to it after that (see the platform's own data-retention design)
- Where backups are stored (including any offsite/third-party storage,
e.g. Backblaze B2) and how they are encrypted
- Any third parties data is shared with (e.g. the AI Analyst feature sends
farm data to Anthropic's Claude API to generate answers) and why
- How a farm can request export or deletion of its own data
- Applicable data-protection law (relevant jurisdiction: Kenya's Data
Protection Act)
Until this document is replaced with reviewed, final content, no farm should
be asked to accept it as a condition of using the service.
